About this space

Course blog for BA (Hons) Art & Design (Interdisciplinary) at Leeds College of Art.

The varied content of this blog reflects the diverse and eclectic nature of the course, where those who operate as individual designer-makers, work alongside others who incorporate curation, writing, visual art, collaborative and socially engaged practices; across communities and cultural institutions.

This blog provides sporadic course news on exhibitions, events, projects, and so on... This blog stretches back several years. See blog archive. For further info please contact the programme administrator: scott.crosby@leeds-art.ac.uk

POST*

*a prefix, meaning “behind,” “after,” “later,” “subsequent to,” “posterior to,” occurring originally in loanwords from Latin ( postscript ), but now used freely in the formation of compound words ( post-Elizabethan; postfix; postgraduate; postorbital ).

Post* is a forthcoming exhibition of work by final-year students studying on the BA (Hons) Art & Design (Interdisciplinary) degree at Leeds College of Art. Over the duration of the course all participants have all formed very individual practices and processes, Post* aims to show finished works whilst also exposing some of the developmental content that precedes them. In conjunction with the final show an earlier work-in-progress event - Pre* - will be held at Enjoy, Leeds in late April. Pre* will be an exposition of live practice and discussions that will serve to inform and expand on the work of participating artist’s in anticipation of Post*.

The blog is intended to be a hub for all online material contributed to, or produced by the participants of the course.
